Tennis Specialists
At Herne Hill Sports, we consider ourselves Tennis Specialists. We supply a range of rackets, balls, and accessories. Our helpful team will be there to guide you through whatever tennis-related queries you may have. We also offer a Demo Racket Service, which allows you to try the rackets before you buy them. Below is a list of the racket families we carry. We do sometimes carry rackets that may not be listed below so feel free to get in contact if there is a specific racket you are after but don’t see!
Our Racket of the Month
The Yonex Vcore is our racket of the month. Offering a blend of spin and control, the Vcore line of rackets are perfect for intermediate and advanced players alike. Unlike previous generations, the new Vcore places more emphasis on feel and touch, meaning the rackets are more accessible to aggressive net players as well as heavy baseliners. With a redesigned throat, the Vcore is able to cut through the air at incredible speed, meaning a higher launch angle on shots for increased court penetration. Demo’s available in the Vcore 100, 98 and 100L.
Rackets
In addition to our extensive range of tour frames, we also carry recreational and intermediate rackets at a lower price point. For information on which specific frames we carry in this category, give us a call or pop in-store. We also carry an array of accessories and luggage including but not limited to tennis balls, bags, overgrips, replacement grips, dampeners, lead tape, and grip sleeves.
Tennis Footwear
We carry a range of tennis footwear, suitable for all players and all surfaces. Our major brands include WILSON, K-SWISS, ADIDAS and ASICS.
